Description
The Farmer’s Rose (Bondemønster) pattern was launched in 1932 and quickly became one of Porsgrund’s most beloved designs. Inspired by Norwegian rosemaling, it shines in strong folk colours of red, green, yellow, and blue. Over the decades, Farmer’s Rose has been produced in different moulds and decorative variations, but the motif itself has remained a much-loved feature in Norwegian homes.

Description
The Farmer’s Rose (Bondemønster) pattern was launched in 1932 and has remained one of Porsgrund’s most loved designs, inspired by Norwegian rosemaling in clear folk colours of red, green, yellow, and blue. Over time, it has been produced in different moulds and decorative variations, each with its own character.

This coffee service is made in the elegant Jubileum mould, a fine and thin porcelain shape that Porsgrund used widely in the late 1960s. The Jubileum form is known for its delicate proportions and refined look, making it one of the most aesthetically pleasing of Porsgrund’s productions. I also have this same mould with the Seljord décor, which shows how versatile and beautiful the shape is with different patterns. Here, paired with the Farmer’s Rose motif, it combines tradition with refined form.

Additional offerings
Alongside this coffee service, I also offer a tea service from the same mould and period, as well as a variety of matching accessories: serving dishes, creamers, and sugar bowls. All pieces are stamped from the late 1960s to early 1970s. See my other listings to complete your set.
