About the designer
Uni David-Andersen (1938–2017) was a Norwegian goldsmith and jewelry designer, and granddaughter of the founder of the David-Andersen company in Oslo. Active mainly between the 1960s and 1980s, she created bold, geometric designs in silver, gold, bronze, and enamel. Her work is now highly collectible, often stamped “Uni D-A” or “UNI David-Andersen Norway.”
Rooted in Norwegian heritage, this brooch is more than a design object — it is a wearable expression of cultural history. Perfect with a bunad or folk costume, on patterned knitwear, or as a striking accessory in everyday life, it also makes a thoughtful gift for anyone interested in Viking culture, history, or Scandinavian design.
